Area's favorite swimming holes! At the end of this valley hike near Crawford's Knob is a series of cascading waterfalls. The rock surfaces of the falls have been smoothed by thousands of years of rushing water.
Check the weather forecast - in summer you want to return before the afternoon thunderstorms start ;8-)
DIRECTIONS: From Nellysford on Route 151, turn west onto Monocan Drive and drive to the end, then take a left on Rodes Valley Drive, left on Crawfords Climb and right on Paul’s Creek Cul-de-sac.
You can start from the UVa Fontaine Research Park parking lots at for a carpool or at the trail head in the Rockfish Valley.
