Preddy Creek Trail Park is 571-acre recreation area offering 9 miles of multi-purpose trails for mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding. It is set off Route 29N, mere 15 miles (30 minutes) drive from Charlottesville.

Go to the Preddy Creek and hit the trails for a couple of hours. The mountain bike trails are suitable for all levels beginner thru advanced. The “Preddy Creek Trail” loop is recommended for beginners with its smooth tread surface, but will also presents a challenge for advanced riders with quick climbs and descents twisting between wooded terrain.

Make this a no drop ride if you are in a group ....the slowest rider should determine your pace. For this ride you will need to bring your own bike with tires that are suitable for dirt track riding, a helmet, and a water bottle. Then hit the dirt and enjoy this exciting sport.
